Simone Gavioli

Simone is a Solicitor in the firm’s Litigation department where he works on contractual and commercial disputes, insolvency, debt recovery, property disputes, and contentious probate. Due to his background, Simone can assist individuals and businesses on cross-border disputes, when needed.

Simone joined Grant Saw in November 2023. He has a five-year master’s degree in law from Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. During 2020-2021 he undertook training in the dispute resolution department at an international law firm in Milan and London. In 2022 – 2023 he worked as an English trainee in the litigation department of a London’s West-End practice and was admitted as a solicitor on 1 March 2024.

Simone is a member and coordinator of the UK chapter of AIA-ArbIT below 40, a member of the British Italian Law Association (BILA), a member of London Solicitors Litigation Association, and a member of the education team of Talented Italians in the UK (TIUK). He has also contributed to the publication “Europe in the Global Space Economy,” by Springer (2023), and is currently writing a monograph on damages in tort under the Italian law with the Italian Judge Damiano Spera (to be published by Giuffre’ Editore).

In his private life, Simone is a classical music and opera lover, and he is studying opera singing privately. He also enjoys reading novels and history books, going to the theatre (he particularly likes Shakespeare), swimming, and socialising.”
