Joanna Godden

Joanna studied Law at Oxford and Guildford, qualifying as a Solicitor in 1982 after articles in a City firm, where she stayed for a further two years. She then moved to Hong Kong for two years.

Since 1987 she has worked in Greenwich, practising in Conveyancing, Wills and Probate, and in 1994 qualified additionally as a Notary Public. She now deals almost exclusively with documents for overseas, and joined Grant Saw at the end of 2006.

For the avoidance of any doubt, whilst Joanna Godden’s office is based at Grant Saw Solicitors LLP, Joanna’s notarial work is undertaken through her notarial practice which is completely independent of Grant Saw Solicitors LLP and is regulated through the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury and not by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
