It is no secret that employment issues in the workplace can be costly, time-consuming and reputationally damaging for a business. Our expert team of employment lawyers can assist you through our new free Employment Helpline service.
How can the Helpline service benefit your business?
We offer practical, commercial, and tailored advice for any issues you may be faced with as an employer. Whatever your employment question, we offer free advice each month when you need it.
Our lawyers understand that there is no “no one size fits all” approach to employment matters. We focus our advice on the particular needs of your business to provide the right guidance and support in managing the legal risks.
How does it work?
You will be provided with advice either over the phone or a video call, whichever you prefer, which will be followed up with written confirmation of the advice. You are welcome to utilise one hour of free advice from our employment specialists each month if you wish to.
Who can use the service?
The Employment Helpline service can be used by any business for all aspects of employment law. The Helpline is specifically designed for HR professionals, line managers, senior managers, business owners or anyone involved with recruiting or managing employees or making HR decisions.
If you would like to arrange an appointment to use our free Helpline service or find out more, please contact Michael Pope or Simran Lalli.
Terms and conditions
The Helpline is available without charge to businesses of all sizes who have an employment issue they need support with.
You can use the free Helpline for up to 60 minutes in each calendar month for advice relating to one employment issue or question relating to your business (‘the issue’).
If the issue involves advice that requires more time than one hour, whether in that month or subsequently, we will be happy to provide that advice on our normal business terms, if you would like us to do so. In that case, we will send you an engagement letter setting out the scope of the work and associated cost of this, before proceeding further.
Helpline advice is available on the telephone or by video call. We will endeavour to provide the service as soon as possible and within one working day at the latest. We will provide you with a confirmatory email of the advice given.
If you have any questions relating to the Helpline service, please do not hesitate to let us know.
