We are pleased to announce that Grant Saw has raised over £2,000 for the Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice, our charity of the year for 2023/24.
The bulk of our fundraising came following our charity quiz, which took place on Thursday 5 October 2023, and raised over £1,750. We have also raised money via office sweepstakes and completed client surveys between 1 April 2023 and 31 March 2024.
Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice are a local charity dedicated to providing free, high-quality, compassionate care and support for people with terminal illnesses, their families, and their professional carers in the London Boroughs of Royal Greenwich and Bexley. They care for around 3,000 people every year in their homes, care homes, their Hospice beds, Hospice-based clinics, local prisons and in hospital. The partner of our longest-serving employee received excellent care from the staff at the Hospice which led to us supporting them in 2023/24. You can read more about the work they do here.
Ray Crudgington, Managing Partner at Grant Saw, said “We are thrilled to have raised over £2,000 for the Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice during the 2023/24 financial year. Thank you to those who supported our charity quiz back in October which was a great evening, the fundraising initiatives during the year and to our clients for completing our online surveys. We have a great working relationship with the Hospice and we look forward to continuing our support over the coming years”.
Augusta Adu, Events Manager at the Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice, said “We are immensely grateful for the invaluable support and dedication shown by the Grant Saw Solicitors team during their 2023/2024 Charity of the Year partnership. Their fundraising efforts, raising £2,011 over the year, will make a significant difference to the families in need of end-of-life care that our team supports. Thank you for always being there for our Hospice”.
Following on from a staff vote, we are pleased to announce that the Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice will continue as our charity of the year for 2024/25.
