Grant Saw reaccredited for Cyber Essentials Plus for 2023/24

Cyber Essentials Plus

We are pleased to announce that Grant Saw has been reaccredited for Cyber Essentials Plus for 2023/24. This marks the fifth year of being certified by the highest status of Cyber Essentials.

Cyber Essentials Plus is a Government-backed scheme designed to guard against cyber threats and accredited firms demonstrate a commitment to cyber security. Certification provides Grant Saw and our clients with the assurance that defences are in place to protect against the vast majority of cyber-attacks with technical controls in place to prevent this taking place.

Cyber Essentials Plus is a more advanced level of assurance and includes an additional internal scan and on-site assessment.

Cyber Essentials Plus requires companies to implement five key controls:

  1. Secure configuration
  2. Boundary firewalls and internet gateways
  3. Access control and administrative privilege management
  4. Malware protection
  5. Patch management

Jamie Lawrence, Head of IT at Grant Saw Solicitors, said “We are pleased that our commitment to ensuring the security of our internal systems and dedication to the safety and security of our data and systems has been verified by independent experts. Data protection is very important to us and we will continue to place the highest priority on ensuring the firm and our clients are safeguarded against the threat of cyber-attacks. Well done to everyone involved in ensuring we are reaccredited for the next 12 months”.
