Grant Saw achieves reaccreditation for Cyber Essentials Plus for 2024/25

Cyber Essentials Plus

We are pleased to announce that Grant Saw has been awarded the Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation for 2024/25, marking the sixth consecutive year of achieving the highest level of certification.

Cyber Essentials Plus, a Government-backed initiative, is designed to protect businesses from cyber threats. Achieving this re-accreditation demonstrates our ongoing commitment to cyber security, providing both Grant Saw and our clients with confidence that robust technical measures are in place to defend against cyber-attacks.

This advanced level of certification goes beyond the basic requirements. It includes an internal security scan and on-site assessment. To qualify for Cyber Essentials Plus, organisations must implement and maintain five key controls:

  1. Secure configuration
  2. Boundary firewalls and internet gateways
  3. Access control and administrative privilege management
  4. Patch management
  5. Malware protection

Jamie Lawrence, Head of IT at Grant Saw Solicitors, commented, “We are proud that our efforts to safeguard our internal systems and protect sensitive data have been validated by independent experts. Data security remains a priority for Grant Saw, and we are committed to ensuring the firm and our clients are protected from cyber threats. Congratulations to everyone who played a role in securing this reaccreditation for the next 12 months”.
