Grant Saw achieve Cyber Essentials Plus reaccreditation

Cyber Essentials Plus

We are delighted to announce that Grant Saw has achieved the Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation for 2021.

Cyber Essentials Plus is a Government backed scheme designed to guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrate a commitment to cyber security. Certification provides Grant Saw and our clients with the assurance that defences are in place to protect against the vast majority of cyber attacks with technical controls in place to prevent this taking place.

Cyber Essentials Plus is a more advanced level of assurance and includes an additional internal scan and on-site assessment. The scheme requires companies to implement five key controls:

  • Secure configuration
  • Boundary firewalls and internet gateways
  • Access control and administrative privilege management
  • Patch management
  • Malware protection

Jamie Lawrence, Head of IT at Grant Saw, said “We are delighted to be awarded the highest certification status of Cyber Essentials Plus for another year. We have worked hard to not only achieve this accreditation but to ensure our systems are robust across the firm. Data protection is paramount for us and the Cyber Essentials Plus reaccreditation is another indicator of our commitment to safety and security of our data and systems”.
