Dementia Inclusive Greenwich – Updated Training

The Private Client department at Grant Saw recently received updated training as part of our Dementia Inclusive Greenwich accreditation. This focused on the different types of dementia and the impact that they can have, on the person diagnosed as well as their families. The training also covered practical changes that can be made to office environments to ensure they are comfortable for people with dementia.

We have been awarded Dementia Inclusive status at both our Blackheath and Greenwich offices since our involvement with the scheme started in 2017.

Dementia Inclusive Greenwich is a project run by Greenwich Council, with the aim of making the Borough a supportive, respectful and welcoming place for those living with dementia and their families and carers. Figures suggest that there are over 2,000 people who have been diagnosed with dementia in Greenwich and Grant Saw wanted to become involved in the scheme to show our commitment to the wider community.

We look forward to continuing to work with Dementia Inclusive Greenwich and our fellow businesses who have also received the award, in helping to make Greenwich a more understanding place to live.
