COVID-19 and Health and Safety when visiting our offices

From Monday 10 August 2020, it is mandatory for visitors to wear face coverings when visiting premises providing professional, legal or accountancy services. Therefore, all visitors to our offices in Greenwich and Blackheath will be asked to wear a face covering throughout your visit (unless you have a recognised medical exemption). This is now a legal requirement for visitors to law firms.

If you do have a recognised medical exemption, please let us know in advance. We would also like to ask all visitors to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your appointment to reduce the number of people on the premises as much as possible and would like to request you not to bring anyone with you who is not required at the meeting. Young children may attend if you have no alternative childcare. Hand sanitiser is on hand when entering the office and upon arrival, your temperature may be taken via a digital, non-contact thermometer. If your temperature is too high, we may ask you to leave and re-arrange your appointment. If you feel unwell prior to your scheduled appointment, please advise your solicitor to rearrange.

In line with Government guidelines, we are complying with social distancing regulations and ask you to keep a distance of at least 1m from staff, wherever possible. If you expect to sign papers, we would request you to bring your own pen. If you become unwell with any of the COVID-19 symptoms within 14 days of our meeting, please contact your solicitor so that we can alert staff. For more information, please visit the Government guidance page, which is regularly updated.

Stay alert – control the virus – save lives.
