Every year we hold a ballot vote for our staff to choose a local charity to be our ‘Charity of the Year.’ This year it is Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice.
Community responsibility
Grant Saw are often involved in local fundraising initiatives and events and we take our responsibility to help support the local community very seriously.
We are currently supporting the ‘Transform Blackheath Halls’ initiative, which will help to enhance this local facility and event space for the people of Blackheath, Greenwich and beyond.
We have recently supported The Greenwich and Lewisham Carers Centre by giving talks to their members and sponsoring their annual Christmas Fayre.
We regularly give talks on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and inheritance tax to local care homes and organisations such as the Lewisham Pensioners Forum, Greenwich Carers Centre and the Greenwich Stroke Club.
We have also built a strong relationship with Advocacy for Older People in Greenwich.
Our Wills and Probate department have also recently completed training to make Grant Saw a ‘Dementia Friendly’ business, as part of the Dementia Friendly Greenwich initiative run by Greenwich Council.
Several of our lawyers also volunteer regularly with the Citizens Advice Bureau.
