Grant Saw Solicitors are proud sponsors of Blackheath Rugby Club and we were delighted to be the guests of honour at the match against Loughborough Students on Saturday 13th February.
The match was action packed and was an enjoyable afternoon, despite the weather being wet and windy.
Loughborough put up a good fight and had a well-organised defence, which caused Blackheath some problems in the first half. However, in the second half, Blackheath took full control of the match.
In the end, Blackheath’s superior set-piece came to the fore, giving the hosts the possession and territory required for a comfortable win, 39 to 12. The victory moves Blackheath back up to second place in National League One.
The Partners presented the award for “man of the match” to Tom Baldwin, who had made an excellent try, and it was a very well deserved award.
We would like to give a special thank you to Blackheath Rugby Club who made us feel very welcome.
