Charity Challenge Raises over £1,000 for BLG Mind

During March 2021, twelve members of staff from across the firm embarked on a 200km charity challenge that involved walking, running and cycling and we are delighted to report that over £1,000 has been raised via this initiative for Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich Mind, our charity of the year for 2020/21.

Congratulations to Imelda Galvin and Ray Crudgington who ran over 200km during the month. Daniel Cooper, Lauren Smith and Lisa Warner completed the challenge via a mix of walking and running. Charlotte Mandy successful covered the distance on a bicycle while Jayne Lye, Maria Lati, Michael Tobin, Randeep Thethy, Saad Hameed and Simran Lalli completed the challenge by walking a minimum of 10,000 steps per day.

Ray Crudgington, Managing Partner at Grant Saw, said “The 200km challenge was testing and exhausting but well worth it. I would like to congratulate the team on completing this challenge and to raise over £1,000 is brilliant. BLG Mind carry out vital work in the community and their efforts are even more important at this time. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has supported us and made a donation”.

Lucy Morrell, Fundraising Manager at BLG Mind, said “Well done to the team for completing this very difficult challenge. We felt 100km last September was tough so to increase the distance to 200km and complete this is very commendable. To raise over £1,000 is truly fantastic! We greatly appreciate your ongoing support and look forward to the next challenge”.

We have now raised £2,358 of our £2,500 target since our partnership with BLG Mind kicked off in May 2020. If you would like to support us, please click here.

Stay tuned for further charity updates and thank you to everyone that has supported us. Well done to all involved.
