Michael said “I am very pleased to have completed the London Marathon in support of Livability. Livability is a North Greenwich-based charity that I have developed a strong relationship over the past few years, and I fully back the projects they are working on to support children and young adults with disabilities. I signed up to run the marathon in the latter part of January and while the training programme has taken over my life for 13 weeks, it has stood me in good stead, and I felt comfortable throughout on Sunday. The crowds were amazing. I’d like to say a huge thank you to my colleagues who have shown an interest in my marathon attempt and thank you to everyone that has donated. It’s greatly appreciated”.

Sue Davison, Community Partnerships Manager at Livability, said “We are so grateful to Michael for all his hard work training for and completing the London Marathon in aid of Livability. The London Marathon is an incredibly tough challenge and getting in shape with only 13 weeks’ notice is no mean feat! The money that Michael has raised will help us to deliver vital support for people with disabilities across our care, education and rehabilitation services, changing lives for the better”.
