Grant Saw Solicitors secure Cyber Essentials Plus reaccreditation for 2022-23

Cyber Essentials Plus

We are delighted to announce that Grant Saw has been reaccredited by Cyber Essentials Plus for the next twelve months.

Cyber Essentials Plus is a Government-backed scheme designed to guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrate a commitment to cyber security. Certification provides Grant Saw and our clients with the assurance that defences are in place to protect against the vast majority of cyber-attacks with technical controls in place to prevent this taking place.

The Cyber Essentials Plus scheme requires companies to implement five key controls:

  1. Secure configuration
  2. Boundary firewalls and internet gateways
  3. Access control and administrative privilege management
  4. Patch management
  5. Malware protection

Jamie Lawrence, Head of IT at Grant Saw, said “We are delighted to be awarded the highest certification status of Cyber Essentials Plus for 2022-23. As a firm, we have worked hard to ensure our systems are robust across the firm. The security of our client’s data is paramount, and we take cyber security very seriously at Grant Saw. It’s great to see us receive our Cyber Essentials Plus renewal for the fourth year in a row. Well done to everyone involved in securing this reaccreditation”.
