Mike is a Partner specialising in contested probate, contentious trusts and estate disputes. He joined the firm in 2001, became a Partner in 2003, and qualified as a solicitor in 2000.
With over two decades of experience acting in complex, high‑value and sensitive estate matters, Mike is recognised for his strategic approach to disputes involving Wills, estates, personal representatives and beneficiaries.
His work frequently includes claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, challenges to the validity of Wills, executor and trustee disputes, proprietary estoppel claims, and applications under s.50 of the Administration of Justice Act 1985 for the removal or substitution of personal representatives.
Mike also has extensive experience in cross‑border estate issues, fraud‑related claims, and applications to rectify or interpret defective Wills. His background in property litigation gives him a unique advantage in probate matters involving property, trusts of land, or disputes affecting beneficial ownership.
