Imelda Galvin

Imelda joined Grant Saw as a secretary in 2000, supporting the firm’s Private Client department. With encouragement from the solicitors in the department, Imelda decided to study and complete an LLB law degree at London South Bank University. She left Grant Saw and completed her LLB Hons in 2010 before working for various companies in London as a paralegal to gain experience mostly dealing with medical law.   

Imelda returned to Grant Saw in 2016 as a legal secretary before becoming a paralegal for the family department. Imelda assists the department with various matters including preparing court bundles, opening and closing files, attending court to drop off documents where needed.   Imelda also assists the contentious probate department where needed to assist with statements, creating the exhibits and so on. Imelda enjoys being involved with trials with offering new IT ideas which help make things more efficient. 

Outside of work Imelda enjoys running, cooking, live music and travelling on family holidays with her children and grandchildren.
