Charles is a property lawyer with extensive experience advising clients on complex residential and commercial transactions. Charles joins Grant Saw having set up his own practice which he established in 2008 to advise high-net-worth individuals, property investors and trustees on their property portfolios in London and overseas.
Having graduated from Liverpool University with an honours degree in Philosophy in 1992, Charles then attended the University of Westminster and Exeter University to take his legal postgraduate courses before qualifying as a solicitor in 1999. Charles joined Grant Saw in June 2026.
Charles has a track record working with sophisticated clients on sensitive, high-value transactions and has the ability to handle the most intricate residential transactions, from their inception to completion.
Charles specialises in:
- the sale, purchase and refinancing of freehold and leasehold commercial and residential property;
- the development of freehold and leasehold estates, from site acquisition to plot sales;
- acting for landlords and tenants; and
- leasehold enfranchisement.
Charles acts for a wide range of clients based in the UK and overseas and prides himself on his ability to communicate with clients while providing cost-effective and practical legal advice.
Outside of work, Charles enjoys hiking, travel and reading.
