Carolina de Sousa

Paralegal | Commercial Property

Carolina began her legal career in Brazil, where she completed her LL.B with First Class Honours. During her studies she tutored International Law and published academic work on Human Rights and Treaty Obligations. She later moved to London to undertake the Graduate Diploma in Law, graduating with Distinction.

After completing her GDL, Carolina worked in Commercial Litigation and Civil Fraud at a City law firm, gaining experience in complex, document-heavy disputes, drafting legal documents and liaising with clients, counsel, and international parties. She then spent time supporting Property Development and investment projects before joining Grant Saw Solicitors.

Carolina is currently a Paralegal in the Commercial Property department at our Greenwich office. She assists partners and solicitors on a wide range of matters, including drafting and reviewing CPSEs, preparing reports on title and reports on lease, managing Land Registry applications and requisitions, conducting property searches, and liaising with clients, agents, local authorities and third-party organisations. She is also involved in internal process improvement and contributes to the firm’s business development initiatives, particularly through marketing projects and client-focused materials.

Carolina is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and is passionate about producing clear, accurate work that supports both clients and the wider department.

Outside of work, Carolina enjoys cycling, hiking, playing tennis and taking her dog on long countryside walks.
