How does the process work and what are the steps?

This process begins with the mortgage lender. The lender instructs the same solicitor as the borrower to act on their behalf. How long does it take?

Following the receipt of the mortgage instructions, the entire process should take approximately two weeks to complete. During this period of time you will be kept updated as to how far along matters have progressed and how far away we are from completion. At Grant Saw, we never leave clients in the dark and want you to know about all the steps in the process. If there is a delay we will notify you immediately and keep you updated as to what is being done to resolve any problem. To ensure that the process goes as quickly as possible, it is advisable to instruct Grant Saw at the same time as the mortgage is being processed.
